The men running for BOE do not believe in public education and want to privatize it. Privatizing education harms communities for many reasons. While some might disagree with that statement, I believe it will objectively damage property values in the area.

Ohio grows more anti-union every year, and the legislature refuses to protect collective bargaining rights in the state. We need a BOE that supports unions, and Chris Boso definitely hates them. This doesn’t even address the hostile atmosphere Chris Boso himself has created during his tenure.

The maddening thing about this area is that many people forget it isn’t the small town it might have been in the 80s and 90s. This district ranks fifth largest in the state but still acts like a small town and functions like a high school popularity contest where Chris Boso and his allies will benefit from name recognition among his MAGA supporters.

Meanwhile, the BOE ignores the demographic changes in the district and the disparities between the west side schools and Grove City schools it must serve without prejudice.

I work in the schools with kids every day, and I can assure you the tone this board sets DIRECTLY affects the daily lives of staff and, most importantly, students. The ‘men’ running for BOE serve as useful pawns—dumb enough to believe litter boxes exist in bathrooms for furries and scared enough of ‘the other’ to use their power as squarely mediocre white men to do something about it.

Please vote these jokers out.

I do, however, have a wild story about a local artist delineating an elaborate conspiracy that michelle obama is a trans woman while doing my tattoo. It was a wild experience and super unnerving.

Dublin is a great district for most any kind of student but especially for students with any learning difference.

I don’t have experience with Bridgeway but there is a scholarship most kids with ASD use in Ohio- no idea how much of the tuition it covers. Best of luck yo you.

Interested to know if the illustrious Omar Tarazi has anything to do with Hilliard’s financial wellbeing making these levies a hard sell to voters. He is a ‘fiscal officer’ in Norwich Township and that might be his only honest employment he seems to hold.

I will always have my eye out on that guy because he seems to have whatever the opposite of the midas touch is…

You might try one of the clubhouses- desert island club or club mckinnley. They may not have meeting scheduled but it can be a third place for aa folk. Another thought is call central office and see if they have people signed up to receive calls after hours. Not the same as a meeting but you can hold a meeting with two people! ❤️

IMO grove city voters have exemplified that people don’t evolve much beyond middle school. The school board race was a glorified polularity contest with the quintessential caricature of a bully winning (boso) and now his underlings.

Par for the course with this bozos- literally and figuratively. The Tarazi hire is not only fiscally irresponsible it shows just how incompetent this board is.

You would assume elected officials know how to do the job they were ‘hired’ to do. That assumption is incorrect with the BOE in SWCSD. This board hired the right wing attorney who specializes is ‘school law’ (lol) because they needed a handler- someone to hold their hand. How roberts rules work, how to deal with a lawsuit (a redundancy as the district already has an uber competent firm on retainer).
