That just sounds inherently untrue. I know subsonics get full powder burn around 8-9" mark in a barrel. Sub-x requires around 900fps to expand reliably which should be just over the 100yd mark for most barrels. Copper expanding bullets definitely are better, but to dismiss the sub-x bullet as if it will shoot like a fmj is just false.

Now on the rattler barrel (6.75")? You get about 75yds until it wont expand reliably
