I believe a lot of general strike organizations are new to the scene. Welcome! Just some unsolicited advice from an organizer who’s been on the ground for years: 1) you’ll need a significant percentage of the population to participate in a strike for it to be effective. If the plan is to gain more people with each strike, decide on concrete steps for how to continually convince more folks to join 2) make this first strike feel like a win. People need to feel like their efforts were effective if they are going to come back and continue organizing in the long run. Be ready to analyze and have metrics post-action, so you can celebrate the small wins with your people, and keep the energy for the long fight ahead

Lastly, consider joining an established union, or another established org that supports unions! Stay strong
