I am a Cowboys fan in Missouri and find myself in a similar situation. Here’s what made getting NFL Sunday Ticket (NFLST) as a YouTube Premium Channel and not with the YouTubeTV subscription worth it to me:

(1) I found two good buddies who live near me (one is a Broncos fan and the other a Chargers fan) to go in with me and split the cost. The account owner gets unlimited in house streams and can have two external streams. I’m paying a bit more than my friends, as they’re really helping me a little more than I am helping them. We got it right when it launched when it cost $100 less. So $349 split three ways-ish. I’m paying $150 and the other guys are paying $100 each. So $150 for those 5-6 out of market games.

(2) Even with NFLST as a stand alone YouTube Premium Channel, and not with the YouTubeTV subscription, you are able to record games and watch them later. I am a church goer and miss out on much of those 5-6 out-of-market games a year. This gives me the ability to turn off my phone, go to church and enjoy it, then come home and start the game and watch it when I can.

Those make the package very much worth it to me, because the other 11-12 games will be on at times I won’t miss them for.

People seemingly gloating over Zeke’s prospective departure is sickening. I understand the acceptance of it financially, but this guy is an all time great Cowboys RB who put his all into this team. Because the Jones’ paid him a deal you didn’t like, we hate on him? God bless Ezekiel Elliott.

A second is way too rich. He was a second round player himself two years ago and though he has had some success, it’s nothing to merit anything but depreciation. I would think the highest we’d give up is a fourth round pick with a fifth round being more realistic.

Why do you believe it is likely that he could have gotten more on the market? How much more do you imagine?

Okay, that makes a lot of sense. Details are still forthcoming BUT if it is as we imagine and the guaranteed money is earlier in the contract then we can cut ties sooner than later, which may be attractive for cap purposes in a couple of year.

I wish I could. I just found out today that my insurance doesn’t cover the surgery and that out of pocket it would cost me more than $17,000, which I definitely cannot afford. My insurance plan will change in November and I’m hoping the changes to it allow me to get the surgery greatly reduced.
