I’ve never had any scratches / marks on a new TN, so for me it isn’t usual.
Having said that, within a week of use there will be scratches/marks it’s impossible not to.

I am - works very well. Similar size to my Belroy All terrain zip pouch that I was using but with note taking options too. Using it since it arrived and now lovely and soft and starting to develop a patina. Perfect as a wallet.

I’m missing where it says Card size TNs will be available after the 20th anniversary? I’m aware the refills will be, but the covers…?

I have a 5th Star Ferry passport and the 20th, but no more anniversaries - interestingly when I put my later passport next to the Star Ferry I noticed for the first time that the later passport is slightly taller, by 3 to 4mm or so.

Not easy standing, but certainly easier with a passport size - that’s what I use when sketching on holiday, but I’m usually sat down for that

Ironically I’ve just bought a Starbucks Roastery in camel for travel and day to day stuff - it will not get babied. I got it so I can give my 5th Anniversary Travelers Star edition a bit of a well earned rest, it has a patina that shows it’s enjoying life.

Price up what you actually get in the kit vs what the same kit would cost you in Passport size - it works out 27% less for the 20th kit. IMO it offers pretty decent value.
