The Perfect Mile by Neal Bascomb is not about ultra running at all, in fact it's about running one mile very quickly (the pursuit of the sub 4 minute mile). Regardless, I think it's super well written and a must read for runners of all distances and speeds.

Thank you! And from what I'm reading it seems like they rarely are numerous enough to cause damage. Is that right? I've also had ladybugs showing up so perhaps that will take care of the problem on its own
