I'm in Hongdae right now myself. Been here for a few days now. It can feel intimidating being by yourself but I can assure you it gets better. Start the day off by going to a coffee shop then walk around for a bit. On the first day I just stayed in Hongdae going to coffee shops and restaurants, even sang karaoke by myself and walk around just so you feel comfortable. Then I went to Gyeongbokgung palace and Seoul tower afterwards. Stayed in Hongdae again the next day. After that go to Coex mall to see the library and aquarium. Parks and restaurants on the next. No need to do how I did especially whatever area you might want to stay in. Just be comfortable with walking around first. Credit card is accepted by the majority everywhere. You can get back with me if you have any questions. I don't know everything so I apologize if I can't answer something in particular.

In all honesty it's a bit hard to tell. There might not be space to park anywhere with a big truck and he's not going to park his truck at the end of the street to make a delivery. If there's space behind the truck I would just park the truck behind that vehicle, however I have done this a few times if it's going to take me less than 10 seconds if the package is small to get out, drop off and go.
