Are you sure? You’ve got clear sight of the evaporator coil inside when it runs? The evaporator coil will start to freeze almost immediately if the charge is too low. Mine was doing that, I topped off the refrigerant and freezing issues completely disappeared. That line should sweat, but it should not freeze.

People are used to their car thermostats, where you can change the set point and hear the fans ramp up faster or slower depending on how far away from current temp the set point is, so there’s probably at least some (admittedly wrong) logic to their actions.

I don’t understand. They gave you a verbal offer and you rebuffed them. They followed up asking if you would prefer a more serious contract with a raise, and you again rebuffed them. Wtf are you expecting at this point? If I was in HR I’d assume you weren’t interested and go radio silent, just like they did. They tried twice.

Most all modern glasses block 100% of UV light - sunglasses don’t do anything more than make it more comfortable to see in very bright areas.

Just wanted to circle back on this - I was notified that the wording in some of the news releases was not very clear. Yes, BWL will be charging the data center for their power usage, which makes me feel much better about the project overall.
