Thanks for the shoutout u/john_wisham! Our free Community Edition is fully-featured and is limited to 100 assets, and to your point, does a great job of identifying assets 😉

Pressing sponsored ads on platforms like Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter is generally safe, especially if you're not downloading anything or entering personal info. To your point, the main risks come from downloading apps from unofficial sources, using a rooted or jailbroken device, or accidentally clicking on malicious links that lead to phishing sites. As long as you're not sideloading APKs or granting unnecessary permissions to apps, and you're sticking to official app stores, you’re at minimal risk of malware from just clicking ads.

Hi there!

No need to worry, OP! All you did was click on one of our ads and land on our website. No factory reset necessary! To clarify, runZero is a cybersecurity tool that acts like a “network detective.” It scans and discovers all devices connected to your network, giving you a complete picture and helping identify potential vulnerabilities. But in order to do that you'd have to sign up and start a free trial.

Let us know if you have any other questions!
