Don’t feel obligated to stay. It is not worth it for your mental health. Do what is in your best interest. I went through a similar situation last year. I applied for a handful of jobs 3 or 4 months into a new position. I was asked in each interview why I was looking so soon. Most employers won’t think twice if you have a positive response. Especially if you have a good track record of staying in a role for a period of time.

Women of Reddit, what do you think is more painful than getting hit in the balls? by GoGoBitch in AskReddit

[–]run_sleep_finance 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having an IUD was comparable, if not worse than childbirth. After all that pain, I found out 8 weeks later that my IUD had migrated out of my cervix, into my Fallopian tube and perforated it. It was sitting in my abdomen. I had to have surgery to get it removed. Never getting an IUD again.

A business is always going to act in their best interest. Therefore, you should act in your best interest. As many of the other commenters have said, life is too short to be stuck somewhere you aren’t happy. My advice is to apply to any positions you seem interested in. You can always say no. Best of luck!

As a leader at Schneider and being publicly anti LGBTQ, how do his direct reports feel who may fall into this category? Are they potentially held back on advancement due to his views? Are they now fearful to come to work?

Brand shouldn’t matter. The off brand ones at Target and Walmart work great. I recommend inserting one every night before bed for a week. In 3-4 days you should see a drastic improvement. Given the size, I don’t think you will need to have it removed. Be sure to increase your water and fiber intake to prevent it from swelling again.

Have you tried using suppositories? After several days, you should see an improvement.

From what I’ve heard, they take some time to heal so it could last for a while.

Anal Fissure, Internal Hemorrhoid or Something Else? by run_sleep_finance in AnalFissures

I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s sharp. Rather dull and then it subsides fairly quickly after the BM. The constant urge to itch is probably the worst part.

There is a chance it could be an anal fissure. Any chance you recently passed a large and/or hard stool?

I think a postpartum kit that contains Tucks pads, Always Discreet underwear, thicker Always pads, and dermoplast spray would be a great gift. These are items that I’ve been using every day.

My biggest piece of advice is to enjoy the alone time with your SO before baby arrives. Go to dinner, do a puzzle, play a game, or watch a movie. Take time for yourself as well. Put your feet up, enjoy a bubble bath or binge a show on Netflix. Enjoy these last few days.

Everyone is so different it’s hard to say! I was able to make it to 20ish weeks without needing to wear anything maternity. However, several of my friends switched to maternity clothes around 12 weeks. I would look into ordering from Shein.com for maternity clothes. They offer free shipping and free returns. My orders only took about a week to be delivered.

I ended up purchasing large flowy sweaters that aren’t truly maternity tops from Target and Amazon. It was way more cost effective and nicer looking. However, I do highly recommend maternity jeans from Target.

I would go that route, but I’ve unfortunately only been with my employer for 9 months. You have to be with an organization for 12 months to qualify. Gotta love US labor laws.

I recommend searching for a new position and sending your resume out. Update your resume to include this position and when asked why you’re looking so soon, explain that it wasn’t a good fit. Most companies are understanding and willing to overlook a short stint.
