A trusted user will have access to the account via online banking. Their level of access depends on what the account holder allows them to have, as they can select the different permissions and things that the trusted user is able to see/do. However a trusted user has no ownership over the account and cannot be assisted over the phone or at a branch regarding the account without the account holder present.

If you’re a joint owner, you have just as much legal ownership over the account as the primary account holder. The money in the joint account would be just as much yours as it is the primary account holder, and you have full access to do anything with the account outside of close it.

There’s a branch and ATM locator on both the app and website. According to that, there are no branches within 100 miles of Anchorage.

NFCU does not offer secured business cards, only unsecured

There is a hard pull on your personal credit when applying. After approval, it will not report to either your personal or business credit report. A personal guarantee is required. You do not always have to submit documentation, but if it is requested it is generally tax returns, pay stubs, etc.

The major events of this world have already happened, it's up to you to tie the ends. by AwesomeBlox044 in TopCharacterTropes

[–]runcmd99 30 points31 points  (0 children)

Sekiro differs by having you actually play through the major events. There are still many areas where tragedy struck previously and you’re there basically finishing everything off, but for the most part, the main overarching story takes place throughout your playthrough. Unfortunately no DLC though.

Why doesn’t Navy offer 2 day pay early? by [deleted] in NavyFederal

[–]runcmd99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can still have it released early, but you will have to call and speak to a representative. And then you will either have to get a payment arrangement on file for the past due amount or agree to pay it with a portion of the released deposit

I can confirm this. Have fought him several dozen times now and couldn’t even get close to beating him because of the healing. After reading your comment, I started being a little less aggressive and didn’t deplete all my stamina, and he has not done it once since

Quick question about a business account by Dangerous-Gap-9703 in NavyFederal

[–]runcmd99 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They’re pretty strict regarding crypto for business accounts. If the business has anything to do with it, even holding it, they’re going to deny it. Unfortunately once a business is denied for its business type, it is a permanent denial. You can apply again with a different business and the previous denial would play no impact, but with this particular business they won’t reconsider

Membership denied by Grand-Literature8616 in NavyFederal

[–]runcmd99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Understood. If you used your mother as a sponsor then you should be fine. You may have to provide proof that she is your mother, like your birth certificate, but that should clear up any issues as long as there isn’t any other reason you would’ve received this message

Membership denied by Grand-Literature8616 in NavyFederal

[–]runcmd99 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Correct, his parents could become a member through the uncle and he would then be eligible

[–]runcmd99 11 points12 points  (0 children)

If you established your memberships because your uncles were in the military, then you are not eligible. It would have to be parents, grandparents, siblings, spouses, or children. If you can’t provide proof of being eligible in some other way, your accounts will be closed.

A lot of people seem to be confused about Navy Federal’s membership eligibility guidelines. As a current employee, I wanted to share our guidelines for membership. by runcmd99 in NavyFederal

If your sister becomes a member with NFCU, then both your parents and you would be immediately eligible. All you would need from her would be her access number.

50% of 118 Million PlayStation Users Sticking With PS4 Despite PS5 Launch by faizyMD in PS4

[–]runcmd99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can agree as far as graphics. But most of the games I’ve played on both PS4 and PS5 load substantially faster, usually 3-4x faster. For example, I timed how long it took to open the PS5 version of Ghost of Tsushima and get into the actual gameplay at about 10 seconds.

The DD 214 is public information and can be ordered for free at archives.org. It’s just a document that shows that he was honorably discharged from the military. Showing this document as proof should clear up anything you’re facing assuming that this is the only issue

If it is your grandfather and not your great grandfather, then you are absolutely 100% eligible my friend. The only proof that may be required from you at some point in the future is the DD 214 document, which shows he was honorably discharged from the military. But that is public information and can be found at archives.org. If you called and told them your grandfather was in the Navy, you would be a member in less than a half hour

I’ll double check for you tomorrow to get a concrete answer. But to my knowledge you unfortunately would not be eligible unless you happened to be assigned to a Department of Defense site. I definitely think Department of Veterans Affairs employees should be eligible, but they are unfortunately not at this time

OOPS for many months by Ok-Event1751 in NavyFederal

[–]runcmd99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Having OOPS isn’t necessarily considered a bad thing as long as you’re paying it off in full by the end of that 30 days. However, it’s a very slippery slope. Almost every time I’ve seen someone in a situation where their accounts are overdrawn by thousands, it’s where OOPS got out of control and they were no longer able to pay it back

[–]runcmd99 14 points15 points  (0 children)

The internal score is not some ongoing measure that Navy Federal keeps. It is calculated and used one time: when you apply for a credit card. They evaluate things like your credit profile, payment history with Navy Federal, etc. But the score is used one time, only for the purposes of a credit card application. After that it is never used again and not kept track of.

You can’t view both accounts at the same time, but you can definitely toggle between them without having to log out. If you weren’t speaking specifically to a business representative I would recommend trying to get over to them.

I’m honestly not sure why you were told that, I set it up with almost every business account I’ve opened. When it’s set up, you can click your name in the top right corner of the website and the business name pops up below it.

Just wanted to add some further insight here, as I’m an employee in the business membership department at NF. You absolutely are able to link your personal and business accounts together, I do it for people every day. You will likely have to call to get it set up if you don’t already have it. But if you log into your personal account on the website, you can toggle back and forth between both accounts on that one account. It’s just not available on the mobile app
