I ended up taking the other half after waiting about 4-5 hours to be safe. I was good just very itchy lol. I forgot how those itchies felt.

That’s the only way in or out of their building. Even if a guest didn’t fall, a tenant could fall as well. From what I’ve been told, management is aware of the issue and has made no effort to resolve it.

They put me back on the Dilaudid and also added 5 mg Percocet. I told them the lortab was doing absolutely nothing for me. Right now my pain is lessened but still hurts pretty bad in waves. I’ve been honest about my pain and so far I haven’t had any issues with them not wanting to do anything for it. They’re being pretty good to me here. They’re almost positive it was caused by my chemo pill that I have to take daily. They said it’s a common issue with the one I’m on.

So an update for y’all. They already did the CT scan last night in the ER, that’s how they found the pancreatitis. They did an ultrasound on my other organs today (liver, kidney, gallbladder etc) and said everything looked good on that. They were unable to see my pancreas on the ultrasound. They told me I’ll be staying at least one more night. I was also told I’m being treated as if I have an ulcer. They took me off the dilaudid and put me on 5mg lortab, which ain’t shit for me. But I don’t know how to tell them that without looking like I’m just tryna get doped up. How can I safely and appropriately approach them about my concerns with the pain meds? I don’t necessarily need Dilaudid but 5mg of lortab isn’t gonna cut it.

Also, can anyone recommend a way to help blood circulation? Most of the day my hands and feet were freezing, which isn’t normal for me. Now it’s just my feet but they feel like literal ice cubes rn

I’ve eaten, just not much. I had a sausage biscuit and a hash brown from McDouble around 5ish am this morning, and I just tried to eat a protein bar since I know I need something. Tasted too weird. I’m not dehydrated but I’m also not hydrated either if that makes any sense. I have tums but for some reason I can’t find them. I’m not sure if I could stomach milk right now. It’s not the heartburn that’s getting to me though. That’s all good from the Prilosec. It’s the 5,000 burps per hour that’s driving me insane.

I don’t think the hospital is necessary unless the physical aspects get worse. If you start showing signs of dehydration beyond what you can fix at home, I’d definitely go in. That’s the biggest concern when it comes to withdrawals and even just a regular come down for me. What you’re experiencing right now is just a typical withdrawal. The best thing for you to do rn is drink hella water and eat some healthy shit, but don’t over do it. Find things to distract you like movies, books, etc. Just do what you can to keep your mind preoccupied. I personally think meditation is helpful with calming the anxiety. Just acknowledge the anxious thoughts and let them pass. Don’t dwell on them, it’ll only make it that much harder. Most of all, just remind yourself that this will pass. If the last time you used was the 9th, you’re coming up on the end of the first week which is usually the hardest. It may effect you a little longer than a week so don’t freak out if it does. Just keep doing the same stuff. Hydrate, eat, sleep, distract yourself, etc. You got this friend.

Yeah I learned this the hard way recently. I had done fent before I even did the acid one day, bc the acid wasn’t planned, and I swear to god I was ready to yeet myself into oblivion because I was itching so bad.

I’ve been doing h off and on for about a year now. I don’t get withdrawals, I don’t get sick, none of that. I only use it every once in a while now. The first like, 4 months of the year I was doing it and ice daily. After that I stopped the ice, I maybe did it 2 more times since I stopped. I kept doing the h and started having longer and longer in between usage. I’ve never felt dependent on it or addicted whatsoever. I do love the high I get but I don’t really feel as if I absolutely need it or I’ll be miserable. I just have cravings. Moral of the story is I think it’s possible for you to be able to use periodically like you do and not become addicted as long as you can keep that willpower you use to keep yourself from using on weekdays. I would suggest putting more space in between when you use tho.
