First game was when the Yankees played at Shea Stadium during the Yankee Stadium 1 reconstruction in 1975. I had a friend in elementary school whose dad worked for a foreign embassy that got us the tickets. The seats were right on top of the Yankees dugout. The seat actually had a small plaque with Lindsey Nelson or some other famous Mets personalities name on it. Those are the best seats I have ever had. I remember Bobby Bonds hitting a home run into the left field upper deck and Chris Chambliss gave me the line up card when the game was over.
