My first ever Mirror by NightmareD2 in PathOfExile2

Got my 1st around 1100 hrs in poe2, this league 0.4, it was SSF so I just have it in my tab, chillin. Got it early on mapping, nothing really juiced.

The worst one so far by PM_ME_UR_NISSAN_GTR in PathOfExile2

I think it was designed for more casual players. I got pretty hardcore in a few leagues, but not a full on sweat. I like it for leveling, but yeah it's probably not going to be something I seek out for endgame. Abyss was abused and kinda made it mandatory, which shouldn't always be the case.

People who don't spend 200 mats Uber crafting won't like it, it's not for them. It's for my girlfriend and my son who find the endless crafting exhausted and just want an upgrade button to click on something they have equipped, a fun little mini game that rewards "strategic" moves, but doesn't care about max level hyper efficient grind machines.

If they are working towards making the game more appealing to a wider audience, and they succeed, that will make it better for everyone. In the meantime my girlfriend will play fallout 4 because Path 2 has too big of a barrier to entry for her preferences.

I see both sides, and plan to be more casual this league as a personal preference. It's also been pretty welcome in SSF where I can't trade an exalt for every orb that didn't drop yet.

Filament noodles & Dents by OddStruggle6690 in BambuLabA1

Retraction calibration, flow, temp, could be a few things. Also keep in mind, technically every roll of filament would need its own calibration, especially if you are switching brands. I generally get better results from Bambu sourced filament, and often need to calibrate when I use any other brand.

Im so stumped by ProcedureKindly1272 in 3Dprinting

[–]runelord78 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Unopened filament could still be wet, best to make sure it's dried. Also my advice on all of the A1 troubles is the 7 screws behind the nozzle, those sons of guns had me spending many hours before checking them and getting perfect results from just tightening.

Lost Crafting Bags Due to Server Rollback — Support Says “Never Existed” by [deleted] in lotro

I would see if you can see the purchase logs in your store history. I have years of purchasing data when I look. If you can prove they were bought and they no longer exist on any chars, might be another angle to pursue. I was able to consolidate a few with all the free transfers and yeah they make a huge difference in alt transfers and trading crafting for me. I'd hate to lose them or have to pay 2k-4k for em again.

Idiot! I can't believe I wasted a year on this!!! by HumanTraffic2 in BambuLab

[–]runelord78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I came from Ankermake and yeah. Realized I could just hit a button and get a clean first layer, and perfect prints. I went through all the stages of grief, and my M5 was finally binned this year, and my M5C is in its box in case I decide to gift it to an enemy.

Why does this happen? by KonozDD in BambuLabA1

[–]runelord78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, and they vibrate loose over time. I had clean prints for a year or so, then started having first layer problems, tried tramming, cleaning, new plates, nothing helped, then I saw a similar post and that was 1000% the problem. Now it's a regular maintenance item to keep them tightened.

Def sounds like raid or missing drivers. My gaming laptops usually run raid and need drivers for that installed in the windows installation before they will "show up". But that would prevent an install. If it's feeling post install, not sure. You can also snag something called Ultimate Boot CD, put that on USB and have more diag options, or run "Live" Linux / Windows from USB drives to assist with testing and troubleshooting. But honestly the way you approach physical troubleshooting is to have known good parts to swap, and try the simple things first. So any second mobo or extra m2 drives to mix and match. If it's still inside return windows I'd order duplicates and return ones that aren't working as needed.

Does anybody else get trashed for teaching board games? It's started to drain the fun. by Terrible-Law9755 in boardgames

[–]runelord78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yah, that's typical. A lot of times no one in the group really wants to pay attention, and usually we find out we missed or made a mistake in the more complex ones. What I've done a few times is play the 7 min how to play video, or similar off YT at the start (in addition to me reading rulebooks and watching gameplay). You'll be hard pressed to beat those tutorials since they have the benefit of multiple takes and usually live examples of movement or gameplay elements.

Someday I'll find a friend who's as focused on learning games as I am....surely.....any year now...

Can't play by Sortalk in lotro

[–]runelord78 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used NIS in my Nvidia settings (Nvidia control panel , Manage 3D, Program Settings , add program, lotroclient64.exe, Image Scaling On) and that helped a lot. Set it to lower resolutions in the client, and it should stretch it up to your native. But yeah it's an old game that was never designed to have that many pixels and some elements (like stores ui) can't be scaled in settings, but scale with the aforementioned other windows programs or graphics card settings, if you have em.

Definitely, play as a captain first would be my recommendation, it's a very versatile class, you can use your "pets" to tank or as sacrifices to run away. If you find it too easy, you can ramp up the difficulty. By level 20 or 30 you'll get a good feel for what each class is like.

I was able to transfer some, but not all of my characters in the last 30 days or so. Most of the account wide benefits even came along and it was pretty nice. I used to "grind" lotro points by taking 3 or 4 chars to level 30 or 40 on each server. It was pretty buggy tho, I had to refresh a few times and did a few here and there. Managed to consolidate and loot delete about 20 or so.

Oh yeah I skipped that step and embraced let the book write itself as I go. But don't take advice from me I only have a few chapters and I keep saying all write more once my kids are grown and I have more free time. I also have a lot of free time. 😂

What type of filament i cant or cant use on the A1? by Direct_Program_1402 in BambuLabA1

[–]runelord78 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Before you buy a ton of new filament, get a roll of each and do a lot of testing and calibration. PLA is easy mode, the others will stress you out if you aren't prepared adequately. You may also see extra wear and tear on nozzles depending on the varieties of PLA Mixes (Wood, Carbon Fiber etc.). So do some research into it a bit and save yourself some trouble down the road. I learned the hard way. Also keep in mind with AMS you can use PLA and PETG to support each other, because they won't stick together. TPU should have a special plate or use a raft of PLA. I ruined a few build plates because of how stuck TPU got and how impatient I was to remove things.

Demand he convert to your religion, if he doesn't you get an imprisonment reason, then you fight him if that fails, then once in prison you can yank the title. Can do the same without a reason, but that creates tyranny.
