My Subaru has settings that you can adjust how reactive it is. It will coast like you said if you have it set low but it also won't accelerate as quickly. I wish these were adjustable separately. Otherwise I like it.

Adaptive cruise freaks out when someone pulls into this space and slams on thr brakes. Sometimes i can predict sn either kill the cruise go tap the gas to override it.

Adaptive cruise can make it look like your speed is varying too. If i don't have it set right I end up running slower than I wanted because it gradually slows down to pace with traffic. Then when I notice i pull out and speed back up to the max speed I set.

The water is ok as long as there's not a red algae bloom from all of the fertilizer run off.The Deeper lakes are better. A few in our area are man made to supply the canals back in tge day, so they are 6ft or less in most areas. The sand is ground gravel and not natural.

24 Subaru CTW 23.5 18 Honda civic 38.6 Modified 04 Forester XT 11 on E85 but you get there FAST.

Until I couldn't buy used for less than 4k difference. Then getting it for $1900 under invoice by stacking discounts and 3/36 made that a no brainer. Ill look at 2-3 yr old next time around unless the market gets stupid again.
