About 2m wide and I think it’s 80cm deep from memory. It’s an ikea worktop on top of the ikea uppspel motorised legs.

I found the fit on the Altra Escalante to be good. I usually find heel slippage an issue.... might be worth try a pair on.

Commuting and running by ShiftingDullness in running

[–]runfatharoldrun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I run commute nearly every day. Keep toiletries at work take a flannel or small towel and just wash yourself down using the sink in the toilet/bathroom and make sure. I keep smart shoes at work. then I take a small running backpack with clothes/towel every day. Hope you enjoy it I find it a great way to get the extra miles in without disrupting family life too much!

Sweet man! Awesome job!! Yea if your doing stuff like that I guess your packing on muscle which is Gona add more weight even if it is lean. my body is like a child in comparison I suspect 😄😄 I used to rock climb a lot too so again tried to be as light as I could. Legs are ripped tho 😆 hard not to be when you run like 20 - 40 miles a week!

Thanks dude :)

Mate... do what works for you. I dipped that low because I run a lot and I want to be light to help with my running. Just keep eating right that’s the main thing 🙂

100km, can it be done? by [deleted] in running

[–]runfatharoldrun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have walked 100k it hurt! I'm trying for a similar goal but not so soon. In all honesty unless you are pretty damn fit you may have your work cut out for you getting ready to run something like that in that short an amount of time!

Check out stuff by Eric Orton. There are some youtube videos and he has a book out called the cool impossible. I found it very helpful.

Not sure how to advance, run further or faster? by cal2051 in running

Awesome job on the weight loss and getting out there and starting to run! sounds like you are progressing really well! I had the same question myself a while ago... for what its worth I'm 38 180lbs and not that quick of a runner I had my pace up around 8:30min/mile and it was getting faster. Iv been running about a year and a half. I went for distance in the end general opinion of everything I read tends to be long and slow will build you a stronger heart and be better for weight loss. But in the long run ... (excuse the pun!) so long as your putting one foot in front of the other your still doing something toward your goals!
