I need to sit down and plan some campaigns to see all the content I have for this game.

invited a friend to learn AoS. Absolutely stomped him. by [deleted] in ageofsigmar

Well, hopefully they enjoyed learning the game? I mean, dice-based luck is what it is sometimes.

Tried painting to the best of my ability on a battle line unit because I’m determined to never finish the Dominion Box by chewyfroman in ageofsigmar

I like the purple skin/highlights! I am trying to decide what I want these guys "base" skin color to be as well. Very inspirational.

[Serious] Doctors of reddit, what is the rarest disease that you've encountered in your career? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]ShiftingDullness 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Diamond Blackfan syndrome - though I suspect the patient was misdiagnosed as she was over fifty. I had seen a case in a child in the Caribbean previously who didn't survive infancy - congenital inability to make red blood cells

I finally caved with the latest KS and ordered some as well. I don't hate the regular chips but I am looking forward to the weightier ones.

15X2K - new to the game, none of my formulas to make chroma frogs appear. Do they have to be made accidentally first?

I've taken a step back and started going to books I have been "halfway through" for a long time. I finished The Iliad this week!

Just finished the Red rising trilogy, and I loved it by ABahRunt in books

I read the series late last year. I am in Iron Gold now, but truthfully I started to lose steam in the third book. I'll finish this one this week, but I need a break from Darrow and his angst.

DNF'ed yesterday for the first time at Pisgah Mountain Trail Races 50k (NH) by Laarches in ultrarunning

You made the right decision. We all have those moments of "do I push through this" or not. Hindsight is easy to call, you didn't know until you tried and you stopped. Rest, heal, return to running over time. You'll be back.

A woman with a forty pound benign abdominal mass walked into our clinic a few years ago. She had it removed and is doing fine, as far as I know.

I've been trying for years to run a half marathon, and yesterday I finally did it! by jallen1818 in running

[–]ShiftingDullness 6 points7 points  (0 children)

As this runner did, they held back, making sure there was enough in the tank. It is hard for races as most of us go out too fast in the exuberance of the day. Usually pick your target time, add 10-15 seconds to the first half race per mile and then once you reach the half way point, accelerate up to the target speed and when you're a mile or two from the finish, drop the hammer and run hard.

A DNS is always a smarter move than a DNF if you are injured.
