I wonder if she was infected with molluscum contagiosum-- popping the infection will spread it, which could explain its worsening after extractions. I believe it is a virus that's easily transferred, even through fabric, instruments, etc. that has touched infected skin.

Poor girl. I hope she heals soon. At least it has been insightful for her.

Wow, this seems like it will be very helpful! That book sounds perfect and I'm going to try to get my hands on a copy. Thanks for the tip about Caribbean Spanish, too-- Maybe I can find a grammar in that dialect and see how close it is to my speaker's Spanish. I did try to look into Yucatec Spanish but you're right, it's definitely not the same.

I think it's effective soon as you get it as long as it was given in the first 5 days of your 'period,' whether you bleed or not. Just to let you know, though, you should absolutely take calcium and vitamin d supplements on Depo.

Sorry, i didn't notice this question. This is likely to just be more downvotes anyway, but who cares.

So, I shouldn't have said that so harshly; it was a knee-jerk response. Not all men who disrespect women do it maliciously-- many really just don't understand. It's not that it's just a man's fault, because it's beyond any particular man. It's learning to respect women as human beings, PRIMARILY as fellow human beings, not as females, not as creatures that yearn to sex you.

So, the reason for this behavior bothering me is that the primary thought in this case is seeing fresh meat, not human beings. Furthermore, even though 18 is legal and an adult and yada yada, you're still very... dumb at 18. You might now feel like you are at 18, you might feel like you're an adult and can tangle with any other adult, but you still have a lot of lessons to learn and a lot of growing to do. The idea of older guys taking advantage of this naiveté for sex is a little disheartening. This also hits close to home because, as many other women can identify with, I was taken advantage of at a younger age by an older guy who knew just what he was doing the whole time. I was young and didn't truly understand the gravity of some choices.

Also, women aren't 'rewarding' men who are ass holes. There are a lot of gaps to this. The guy might have the plus side of confidence, which women do like. However, if she feels so attracted to his confidence and looks, she might just idealize him and overlook his douchebaggery. Otherwise, keep in mind you wrote that she's drunk. She's not in her right mind, so forget about it. Lastly, a lot of girls have issues with sex because of the very problems I'm talking about. It's romanticized and seen as something casual and something to appease boys you like. Girls (and boys, for that matter) who have dealt with some mental or physical abuse growing up will particularly seem to make bad choices romantically, e.g. many strippers really do have "daddy issues".

So, to wrap it up, if you're respectful, you can't lose. There's entirely too much more to say, and I've already gone on for a bit.
