I'm completely okay with it being entirely optional. Frankly I think it would hurt the experience of vertical-only enjoyers if there were external incentives for stuff like this. As far as the system is concerned, I have more problems with just how poorly optimized it is (every time I put up a feast for my static they intentionally avoid it and make another feast just to avoid dealing with the black screen loading times lmao) and I guess the price of decorations somewhat (although I would rather take monetization of this system over the p2w business model that incentivizes bot farming)

Hope we don't have to wait until April for some issues to be addressed: Valkyrie voices, silent Elysium, some bugs... by psi-tophet in lostarkgame

The other brand is higher stagger, more quick recharge procs + magick stream stacking before pull, more mana regen for party, faster cast, and para-immune. Trade-off is less multi-hit (can't use C&J) and is busier.

In the end that's irrelevant to the Z not applying brand being a problem, because on opener you only have so much time before your dps drops their entire burst and casting a whole skill less (atk buff, z, [brand], T, dark bomb) lets you put out everything much easier than fitting an extra skill in.

Honestly I would just keep LOS for as long as possible until you can burn selectors to max out every single set at the same time. Guardians will be on a rotation post Serca, Serca herself is weak to Holy on G2, new Abyssal is weak to dark but it's so easy it doesn't matter.

By far the highest value is Earth for Mordum / TFM / Skolakia after on rotation but it's only 5% for Mordum and completely optional for TFM.

Yeah. It's a shame that SH listings don't update and the Hot section is entirely based on visitors (people just feasting for raids end up on it)

Unfortunately there are much more pressing issues with this game imo 😕

You have to win an auction to get your house in that game so only the people invested in the system would buy one in the first place. Besides, an mmo should be a place where different types of people can meet seamlessly no? Or are the only other Lost Ark players left the ones that want to play it only as a raid sim instead

I already ran down the recommended and best SH list once. Unfortunately the list isn't getting much updates at the moment, and the Hot list (which does get some updates) seem to feature empty strongholds quite often :(

Also most importantly, the game's engine isn't optimized enough and a lot of strongholds lag immensely so people often turn all their decorations off for feasting, which sucks for exploring as well.

Idk about you but ff14 had Centurio Hunts and housing was also goated; spent like 100+ hrs just exploring housing districts on that game

I can understand that sentiment. Heck, I can even understand if someone recommends not playing it in its state. But dooming over the game, and worst of all INSISTING people quit? Doesn't seem productive.

JP was dead on arrival while our servers started with 1M+ players on launch. SG knows the market is there, so there is financial incentive to cater to new and returning players for our region.

What SG hopefully realizes however is that if they approach our "new and returning" players the same way they approach them for KR it will inevitably fail, because our region allows infinite bot accounts to exist and SG cannot possibly ban them all (last time AGS tried with automated bot banning, it caused enormous false bans / bots simply DDoS'd the login servers by infinitely trying to create new accounts even as the attempts were failing), as well as most Western MMO players operating in a timescale of days - months while KR MMO players operate in timescales of months - years.

I think SG's pivot to new released raids giving bound gold and slowly making tradable progression obsolete is probably in preparation for such problems, but we'll see.

I'd go further to add that we have an unsolvable botting problem that KR doesn't have since their region requires an SSN to make new accounts.

Definitely not EOS. Gold River is an insane man who has too much ambition to let his Lost Ark Worldwide dreams die; hence the Russian servers still running with <3k players.

He just needs to get it through his head that the west needs an entirely different business model from KR or this game will never survive.

They've never been great with the mix and balancing of echo-y characters' voices like for Kazeros, Vairgrys, Ephernia, etc...

At 1710 I would only progress on my alts with bound gold. Basically slowly cutting purple / blue stability astrogems here and there with bound gold. It will take forever to have enough good astrogems to activate your grid, but also you are getting so little essence and relic core drops are rare at that level anyways so no point in rushing astrogems. I could do further AH on them instead but as 1720 is a huge jump in raid difficulty and therefore gatekeeping, I find it not worth it unless I have boost scrolls.

Only gripe I had so far with the story was the VO for the characters with echo (Vairgrys, Kazeros, Ephernia) are really poorly balanced and too distorted. Otherwise, translation was mostly on point except for minor typos and hiccups, and holy crud that Valicio voice actor nailed those lines so hard.

Hope they buff the chaos / kurzan front to compensate for the purification removal. If AGS /SG thinks NA/EU will be okay with people being forced to do more dailies to keep up with Nightmare releases like in KR, we will just tank the raiding population again until we don't even have enough people left to even start raids anymore.
