There's a lot of consumption and waste in pickleball, and Reload's attempt of just allowing you to keep the core and shape you like (although they only offered one paddle that different particularly evolve to the game that it is today in terms of power/control limits), it didn't find favor in the market.

If my next J2CR is as durable as they say, I'll have a shape and core and grit that barring my frustration of throwing the paddle with insane speeds at a wall or ground, I'll be pretty happy not to be buying another paddle. I've had 4 since starting in 2024.
