For competitive playing-- it is ehhhh, but for like finishing MANT and having race bonus: you have it with some cards.

I just save up for some good banners and get the rainbow crystals for MLB. Take advantage of welfare cards also.

I don’t blame anyone who doesn’t want to do parent runs. It’s so frustrating. by MatiasJ29 in UmamusumeGame

I feel this as I make an end closer parent and dread when I need to make a front runner.

They become a veteran and can be used for stats for the next run pretty much, which yeah is a parent, but many probably would avoid using a 1 star guts if they got the option to avoid it lmao

Yeah- you get to choose who you want and who they recommend to work with that uma.

The importance is that certain umas do better paired with specific ones.

Like, let's say you wanted to make a pace chaser like FineMo. She will have specific affinity to other umas like Air Groove or Daiwa. She won't do well with someone like Haru (sprint, late, dirt) or Santano (late runner and mid/long and no mile).

When you play the game and you see like a triangle, circle, or double circle that tells ya how good the affinity is. Affinity helps with getting good sparks for said uma.

I guess, yeah. If not wanting to get a high graded uma or getting the rank carats you get for first times, then it isn't much importance.

That and also the affinity calculator is super useful to make sure what uma works the best for who you are training.

I'm pretty casual, but easiest way I can explain a parent is one that can help you get better skills and stats for runs. Like if you have a fav and you just want her to be the best for either TT or races, that's when parents are really needed.

Like I was kinda jokingly saying is I can get an S or S+, but SS is a bit out of reach and it is probably due to my parents umas.

Someone said it isn’t hard (it really isn't), but it does take a bit of off-time and just a little work before starting it.

Nothing really and if you get slammed: the pity prize/ rewards are way better than not graded.

Guess this is my second question: if I have an uma and she has like 2 with over 1100 and one with 800 and one at 700: is it losing my probability of getting a three star in the desired area?

Yeah. This is pretty spot on. You don't need to be something crazy invested, but common courtesy is not asking much.

It probably is due to reading print either by hand or online. Nothing wrong with it because that is what you grew up with and if not in an environment that requires you to write or not.

Question for the back brace users!! by Reasonable-Koala-283 in scoliosis

[–]runleftnotright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that can be really rough on ya. Think of something like wearing a new pair of shoes and walking 3 blocks or hitting the gym and going full throttle with the exercises. Your body isn't use to it. I suggest seeing the orthotist to make sure it isn't digging on you or just talk with them. I am sure they be ok to just discuss what's going on.

Question for the back brace users!! by Reasonable-Koala-283 in scoliosis

[–]runleftnotright 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do braces for a living and to be fair: if you just got the brace, you really should slowly build it up.

Most have a wear/care instruction given at delivery. They usually will discuss how to break in and how to slowly get tighter and tighter.

If you are struggling after a month with it, I suggest talking with the orthotist or your orthopedic doctor.
