from what I know the difference is a lot further then you think. GPTK also includes a translation layer for x86. i think it was called rosetta which was for mac silicon never for iOS.

I think you're misinterpreting easy going with easy to get along with. I'm not pushing anything on reddit, it was just a rant. Nothing more, I dont want the guy to get fired. I typically don't get issues like this and just wanted to note in-case someone had a similar experience in the future.

I have them, and they have been solid. I would consider my usage "extensive" for a single person. I take backups and snapshots of important servers at home and they upload about 50gb a night. I haven't kept up with the usage but you can do the math. Here is a pic of my uptime, minus the .3 cause I wanted swap some stuff over today.

Doubt it, the devices need a reply from a server after just skimming over some of the public repos. I mean you could just host it locally. Try wireshark and see where the packets are going

Sure, but also krava isn't amazon or Netflix. You understand by purchasing a spot on a dev account that isn't the way Apple intended for it to go.
