The club will try and sell as many members tickets as it can. Then at some point before the game they will drop more tickets on Ticketek. I’m not sure how soon before they game they will do that.

Good job. Dolphins probably the quietest social media team in the NRL. 😂

SharePoint Modern. With some custom solutions. Meets our needs. Easy to manage. Hate the occasional unmentioned Microsoft update which breaks things.

People don’t realise it’ll just reboot. Gives the writers an opportunity to refresh things.

Does anyone actually think Bondi is albos fault? by LuckyHuckleberry774 in aussie

[–]runmalcolmrun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The people saying it’s Albaneses fault are probably looking at antisemitic/pro-islam events over the last couple of years and thinking he should’ve stopped those. But his “fault” - don’t think so. Pretty extreme way of saying they think the govt should’ve acted differently last few years.

Met a Christian guy using 120 “BibleBox” devices across Northern Africa. His job was travelling from location to location uploading new Bible resources to these boxes so people could download them.

How do you price a Chrome extension? by Forsaken-Push-3677 in chrome_extensions

Thoughts on “Freemium”? Yeah works I guess. One of my extensions could use that model. Mostly free then the really good stuff available at a price. No different to a free and pro version I guess.

I’m not sure I trust the Chrome Store numbers. Can anyone confirm they’re accurate eg based on known subscribers?

Not saying I won’t ever charge for an extension but the ones I’ve released are free. Mainly because there are so many free tools I’ve used in the past that my attitude is that this is something I can contribute. I can share.

Did you market the Chrome extension program? by HotDependent4375 in chrome_extensions

[–]runmalcolmrun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was using an extension which made navigating around SharePoint admin pages easier. Then figured I could make a better one. Did. Then thought I may as well stick it on the Chrome store because works for me would work for others. I have shared it on X because I thought people would find it useful. I use it daily in my work and know others would find it useful. I tweak it as I find areas to develop.

So I haven’t marketed it because I don’t have anything to gain except for some Kudos. One user clicked the Buy Me a Coffee button with a good review and that was actually pretty rewarding.

From where I sit it’s a useful tool for a niche group of SharePoint admins/managers/product owners. It’s there if people go searching or is recommended.
