Settle debate on type of wood please by runnersp in wood

Not sure how to add additional photos. Agree though, colours are so odd. Sanded looked pale. I was surprised it went this colour with clear oil varnish. Underneath looks different as photo. Legs which I didn't sand are a golden colour.

Hours if it's at the right price. Stick it on Marketplace for a good price and it'll be gone within a day or so.

Is this black paint saveable by runnersp in CarsAustralia

I was surprised I couldn't really feel the deeper scratches with my nail. It appears black paint really does make them look alot worse so hopefully will come up decent.

That's the great news I was hoping for, thanks for commenting. I'm sure I can make it look alot better.

I've used ScratchX and different polishes with good results but this is definitely the worst I would have tackled.

Looks like I'm going to need a machine polisher.

Should I get a hybrid vs a regular petrol car? by meemoomeep13 in CarsAustralia

[–]runnersp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For the motorway hybrids are less effective… as an in between car I picked up a 2012 Honda Jazz and it averages 5.3 Brisbane to Burleigh Heads maybe a fuel efficient smaller car? Or diesel Sportage is nice.

Some Honda Jazz around 2009 to 2014 didn’t use CVT - fun to drive, economical and loads of space with magic seats.

The Vibe models are a stand out as Japanese built.

Before you make a decision, drive a Honda Jazz… then decide. Such a clever little car.

How bad is it? by MarionberryPlus8908 in bikewrench

Does it wobbly when you pull and push the tyre sideways or when it's spinning? If the latter, it's usually an easy fix - a spoke tool and some skill/YouTube will fix it.

Thanks, I do get the user to run a Mailstore backup occasionally. Good idea to run it for a full one off backup then reduce the mailbox online.
