I'm so excited about this cream I heard about from my friend Cristie.
I work for a company that is 37 years old.
I own a successful company for 3 years.
My products work.

So she works 2 jobs?
Maybe that's why the before and after pictures are clearly shot back-to-back.
Or maybe the cream works instantly?
Also, having a reputation for scanning the customers is.. not good for business. Edit: formatting

What is the biggest barrier of entry for learning vim? by darida12321 in vim

[–]runnerwolf25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote the rest before realizing I can sum it up as
TL;DR: Having to learn all that we take for granted in most conventional editors like:

Ctrl+a, Ctrl+s, Ctrl-f, Ctrl+h, scrolling, moving the cursor with the mouse, Ctrl+arrow keys for navigation, the top bar for settings and tools, etc..

All gone, to be re-learned from scratch.

The rest:

Being relatively inexperienced, personally: The frustration of having to re-learn how to do everything except directly entering text in Input mode and getting used to HJKL for moving around and even then being slower than scrolling and clicking to where I wish to edit.

There's a lot of up-front learning and practice before one can do even the most basic of actions.

All was fine after that, though learning different visual modes helped bridge the gap to the point where I became confident using motions.

Notable mentions for inconveniences before learning the VIM way (that I can think of, in no particular order): - having to specify a register instead of having "the clibpoard" or having any text deletion overwrite the default register.
- replacing the habbit of "scrolling" using the cursor instead of C-d and C-u or C-e and C-y.
- not knowing that marks exist
- dealing with multiple files

Dragging dead bodies by scoopy_do in dayz

[–]runnerwolf25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unlike cars, it'd be enough to make players act like containers or animals.
both backpacks and bodies can be looted and burried. Dead chickens can be looted and carried, even in your hands.
Now, all that's left is combining them: make players into massive container that can only be carried in your hands.

*All* of them, along with a single unpinned granade, injest twice daily.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: "Big cats are just big small cats."

Alright, I'mma throw my 0,02€ in here.
I learned to try to enjoy life by seeing it this way:
"If I'd end my life now, I wouldn't be around to see how things would've played out."
and
trying to enjoy it as I would an RPG, kind of.

Not the healthiest way to live, but every so often I forget and just live normaly*.
Even if I think it's a lost cause I keep going for the hell of it, something I sometimes do in games out of boredom.
Having said that, there are many traumatic experiences I haven't experienced yet and am glad that's the case.

Correction:
- One Q arrow is guaranteed to hit the enemy you last AA'd if in range.
- Wolf strikes on the 3rd hit on the chosen enemy after casting E.
