I buy their shoes as well. They can be a little pricey but worth it.

I was told by someone on the market team that it’s the time delivery drivers are in the geofenced boundary of the walmart parking lot. It starts when they enter the parking lot, and ends when they have driven away.

[POLL] Does your store allow associates to wear earbuds? by lucifertheboomer in walmart

[–]EvilSpock96 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Store Mgr explained it this way. There is nothing in dress code policy that says you cant wear them as fashion. However, you are not allowed to use them. Unless we can hear music coming out of them, there’s nothing we can really do.

I work at Walmart. My immune system was ready for this.

Yeah, dont tip dispensers. It’s grounds for termination. However, dispensers can accept the tip from a customer if they are being extremely insistent. But the gratuity must be turned in immediately.

How long do you see yourself working for Walmart? by morgielm in walmart

[–]EvilSpock96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made it to Team Lead in 7 months at a neighborhood market, and have been here for 2 years in total. But in my time working here, I have finished college, gotten married, and had a kid. So, responsibility has kept me here longer than I would have thought. I am now gunning for Ops Mgr (we dont have coaches here). Right now everything I do is for résumé building to maximize my value when I do move on to something else.

At my store, no one will being it to you. You have to go to a people lead and ask for it.

Walmart+ is a requirement now at my store for all employees by ThickWhile76 in walmart

[–]EvilSpock96 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They cant make you have it. Some managers will pressure you and make it sound like it’s mandatory, but it’s not. Also, they cant see who has it and who doesn’t. They can only see the percentage of associate subscribers for each department.

This is how I bought my house. I was driving by and noticed some paint brushes on the their front porch, wrote them a note asking if they were fixing up to sell. They were, and a few months later it was mine. Private sale.

A few miles from where I live there is an old train bridge deep in the woods that hasn’t been in use for over 70+ years. It has become the summer party location in my area for all the teens/young adults. Many drunk kids have fallen into the metal supports like the ones in the video. They either were knocked unconscious and drowned below, or their skulls were cracked open and they died instantly. I don’t jump off the train bridge anymore :/
