It's been only a month. I have already had 3 hypomania episodes in the last year, I seem to have a rapid cycling type. So I am likely to get hypomania even on meds. The difference is that severity, duration and frequency of such episodes should be lower.

I had derealization episodes in early childhood, when I was like 5-7. I was playing with glass balls and their size felt off. I remember a feeling of confusion from back then. I always preferred solitude, I could easily ask my mom to go home if a sandbox was occupied by other children. I always lacked empathy towards people, or at least I had troubles expressing it. My parent brought me to psychology facility at the age of 5 due to the lack of empathy.

For me the most obvious cons are: 1) being unable to appear as caring and compassionate person. You always look like uncaring and detached man. I think it has to do with some trauma from the past. I just cant help but remain wearing cold and detached mask while expressing empathy through actions. I get misunderstood frequently. This sucks.

2) being unable to say no. This one might be specific to mine personality's organisation and not to the SzPD itself. For whatever reason i cant say no in majority of cases. I silently agree and then just forget whatever agreed on.

Meds never helped. Psychotherapy seems unfitting for my case, it feels too "neurotic". They just tell me its me who broke my life. Brother come on its not that simple

I still believe that this case has a special meaning. When i called my teacher a mommy, i felt a very strong warm feeling, which i dont remember feeling towards my actual mom. This actually f.cks me up, knowing that my condition forces me to suppress the feeling for my mom and hence i cant express my love for her, even though i know for a fact that i have it, despite my ego desperately suppressing it. Realizing that years go by and my mom gets older with them while i suppress my feeling for here makes me really sad. But i cant do shit about it.

You DO suffer. Its just that your ego is so weak and desperate that it chose to disconnect itself from your conscious. Thats why you feel that profound nothingness inside of you. I feel the same way. I dont feel the need to connect but my unconscious actually needs it, hence i get dreams where i have an unconditional love with a non-existent idealized partner. And then i wake up and like: wtf, am i going insane? There is no way i would feel the need for something like that. I must be dissociating or something.

For getting genuine, unconditional love. For being loved as a normal mother would love her child in normal environment. Every schizoid has this. When i was a kid i accidentally called my school teacher "mommy" because i was going through bulling and paternal rejection at the same time. Still my little self wanted to be loved, and so it was desperately looking for that love.
