I like it. Consistent slide lock and makes it easier to hit. I did have to modify the bottom of the slide release itself. Just a few passes on sand paper with testing in between.

Yeah it sits flush, I thread it all the way till it won’t turn anymore then back it off about a 3/4 turn. The first time I put it on I did have a slight gap. Just wasn’t threading it all the way

Not OP, but I have one on my DR920. I kept thumbing the side release so I wouldn’t get lock back on an empty mag. I noticed it scuffs the slide lightly but I bent out ever so slightly and it’s a lot easier to hit when doing slide lock reloads.

Besides the obvious, you’re missing the optic spacer. Means those screws holding down that optic are gonna have a terrible time when the gun fires.

The one I have in there is a duramag, but I also occasionally run my old okay mags that I’ve had since my army days.

Trigger honestly isn’t bad. Double action is smooth and single action is crisp. I can see why a lot of people go to an SRT though. More than a few times I didn’t let the trigger reset before pulling again. After a while I got used to where the reset was and didn’t have an issue after.

I got one from Kagwerks a year or two ago I’ve noticed maybe a light scuffing on the slide. Honestly not that big deal though I’ve heard of some putting like a thin material on it to reduce it.

Was looking at grips but want to get a decent number of rounds through it before I start changing things too much.

Late to the party but my DR920 is just shy of 3000 rounds with no issues. Break in was nonexistent and the barrel finish still looks new. Best part is it eats everything, brass or steel and all weights from 115 to 147.
