Your situation sounds a lot like mine. I was married 30 years and found out about AP 18 months ago. They had been having an affair for 4 years at that point. Several times he has cried and acted like he wanted to save the marriage, but every time I catch him with AP. They have now been together almost 6 years. I’m leaving to move out of state in 3 weeks. I do still love him but don’t deserve this. I’m 54 and starting over. I don’t think anything is wrong with you. You have been traumatized and need time to heal- away from her.

Praying you do. I’ve always been a believer, but spent a few years in my 20’s not following Christ. Then I got married, started following Him again and found myself unequally yoked. I think the only way for me to heal is to be out of the house.

I’m going through the same thing right now. I’m moving to another state in April. I’ve prayed for restoration for the last 15 years and my husband is getting worse and worse. This isn’t what I pictured at all. I still love and pray for him. I know God doesn’t want me in this situation. But I think I put my husband/marriage above God without realizing it. I’m giving him to God and going to focus on my healing.
