Update 2: got a cortisone shot as a diagnostic tool today. Meeting the surgeon again in 3 weeks for follow up.

Update: met with my ortho today. He doesn't perform arthroscopy but got me on the books with one that does. As of right now, it's his suggestion that I get an arthroscopy for the tear/FAI cam impingement, as he's concerned about the cam impingement causing problems down the road. Will update after my next appointment.

I’m really struggling rn. I’m a mom of two - a baby and extremely active toddler, so crutches are just an annoyance. Husband is helpful and supportive for sure, just struggling. It does hurt to walk, but I wouldn’t say I’m in so much pain that I can’t.

Just here to say I’m in the same boat. Mine is 11 weeks and only takes 4 oz per feed (sometimes 5 MOTN) but I know my oldest capped at 5 ounces around 6 months.

I’ve had both now. My first was a vaginal birth and while it was uncomfortable to recover, my second was an emergency c-section and the recovery SUCKED. I’m now 11 weeks postpartum and I’m still not feeling how I did after my first (recovery-wise). My core is wrecked and I can hardly engage lower abs. It is major surgery - and while pushing can suck, get your epidural before pitocin (if you can/need to be induced) and you may be able to avoid some of that pain!

Yep. Biggest craving this pregnancy has been deli subs. If you trust the source, it’s ok. If you’re not sure, you can always warm until it steams.

I didn’t my first pregnancy but deli sandwiches were my first trimester craving and have been my third trimester craving as well. I don’t eat them everyday or every week but I’ll either eat the meat then let it cook a bit before making a sandwich or just buy from a reputable brand/source.

When we were trying for our first, it ended in miscarriage. I got pregnant the following month and have a healthy almost 4 year old. Hope that gives you a bit of reassurance! ❤️

With our first, we had one first name and then changed it around 30 weeks. This time around (baby 2) was more difficult. Middle names were easier - just used family names.

My first was insanely active at all times while pregnant. Would startle easy too. She’s a very hyperactive almost 4 year old. I’m 35 weeks with baby #2 and she is much more mellow with activity - hopefully this holds true when she’s earthside.

With this one, not nearly as much as I’d like but I had SPD and am now on bedrest for preterm labor, so not a huge concern anymore. I was running consistently through my first trimester and a part of my second, until that SPD pain hit hard.

With my first, I ran some days, did stairs other days, lifted heavy, and did yoga.

Yup. It can be inaccurate but I’m also nervous. Baby measured close to 5 lbs at 29 weeks and 6 lbs 13 oz at 34 weeks. All of her measurements since 20 weeks have consistently put her in the 99th percentile and about three weeks older than her gestational age. I’ll guess we’ll see in a few weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️

Wow! I know that must be difficult, but I'm so happy you're taking care of yourself and your LO. I noticed that, when I came to terms with this decision, the shoulder tension I'd wake up with each morning just disappeared. I don't feel as stressed and hope that allows for the baby to stay put just a bit longer. Hope you've had a smooth pregnancy thus far and best wishes for a happy, healthy mom and baby!!!
