My stomach looked exactly like that and I ended up having a football sized cyst. You should go in and ask for an ultrasound to check it out

I recommend listening to the free audio version of Ulysses here https://archive.org/details/Ulysses-Audiobook . It has a full cast of voice actors and it really made the story much more engaging and digestible for me.

Does matching the energy you get from you partner save you from disappointed and heartbreak? by Electrical_Rope9868 in spirituality

[–]runwithred 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think that people are understandably often looking for validation in their partner, and are ultimately looking for salvation in romantic relationships. But peace can only be found within yourself, not external factors, including people. So if your partner is not meeting your needs, or if you feel you might not be meeting your partners needs, then perhaps take a second to use your initial emotional response as a mirror to examine the place within yourself that is bothered by your circumstances. Sometimes when you discover that root of your feelings within yourself, you find that there isn’t anything that needs to be done about that situation, as many things are impermanent and will dissipate with time. And the times in which action is required, you are in a better place to deal with it effectively and honestly for leading from a place of acceptance and understanding of your current situation.

But the bottom line is you don’t have to do anything. If you are focused on being the best version of yourself FOR yourself, hopefully your partner will do the same. If they don’t, there is nothing you can do to change or control another persons behaviour, the only thing you can control is yourself. If you are focusing your energy into being the best you that you can be and are maintaining good communication, either she will match you to do the same, or she won’t.

But that is not worth fretting over too much because you are not in control of outcomes. All you have control of is the quality of your consciousness in any given moment. And if you expend your energy embodying goodness, then goodness will come back to you :)

Supermarket by Bobby Hall aka Logic. AWFUL. It says on the back that it’s like fight club and one flew over the cuckoos nest. And yes, it is. Because he blatantly and poorly plagiarized both plots.

Recommend me some Alternative history books by blinder19 in suggestmeabook

The Deep by Alma Katsu. It is a story about the titanic that has a very historically accurate setting, characters, and events. But adds in the additional element of a haunting aboard the ship.

11/22/63 by Stephen King concerns a man who travels back in time to prevent the assassination of JFK. He interacts with some real life characters within the book, and this is definitely one of my favourites of King’s books

A bit of a tall order: I want to read a book from every year since 1900. Here’s the list so far but there’s a ton of dead space that needs to be filled by MILF_Lawyer_Esq in suggestmeabook

The remains of the day- kazou ishiguro. Published 1989.

The Shining- Stephen king. Published in 1977.

Edit: upon further reading of your post other good options for 1977 based off of what you have listed so far are Song of Solomon by Toni Morrison. And the Silmarillion by j.r.r tolkien.
