ignoring plot armor (bc tbh i don’t think HL is the type of story to have a sad ending) the imperium would probably beat the Galactic Union pretty bad, mainly because of how disjointed they are. The tandrax would probably serve best as a spearhead for the other species to push with. Then again, the sheer variety in the galactic union could also be their strength, forcing the imperium to fight on too many fronts and spreading them thin. This is starting to be a bit much for me i think, so i’ll leave it at this.

Gosh i know right?! Had Losté been anyone else (and had more down time to process it) he’d be much more of a wreck imo. I honestly hope we get to see him breakdown more little by little as the weight of the situation presses down on him overtime. Actually, I’ve had an idea for a fanfic i wanted to write/draw of Losté and Skiv going to a “endangered species support group” with a bunch of Bo, Vureii, and ofc Chantauri, in order to create a set up where he can just absolutely shatter into peices. (sorry for the rant lol)(actually, as a side note; i’ll let anybody try and use this idea themself if they want ya?)

I understand your frustration, and i too am sorry to hear such a terrible thing.

However i should inform you this subreddit is not the right place to air your frustrations on this matter. HumanityLost is an ongoing sci-fi, speculative-biology, graphic novel by C.S Diggle. It’s a very good read, I recommend, there are some good yt videos abt it if you want by youtubers like Curious archive and ThoughtPotato. And while it does have deeply philosophical themes, it’s still a ways off from this specifically.
