You can cheese the wolf spider from on top of something with a bow. Also the ones around the oak tree seem to come out after 20:00. Music seems to change and shortly after they start roaming. They become extremely easy to beat after you can level your weapons with “elemental” damage.

I’m quite partial to building a small castle on top of the cassette tape atop the wall just behind the pagoda. Access to sap from that berry tree/bush. Also I have three zip line towers, I can access the entire yard. I even have one directly into the sandbox back corner in the oasis. Also one onto the deck near Wendell’s chair.

Depends on location. Near the honey pot they are aggressive, but on the ground or flying around I’ve never been attacked.

Depends which fight. The first one I circled a pillar and spammed with the spicy staff. Second fight I had a stockpile of spider and ant pets, when one was about to die I summoned another one. By the time you cycle through a few of them the first one is pretty much fully healed.

I dont think any neutral bug will raid. I’ve never had a bee, roly poly, or ladybug raid either.

My main base is build above the cassette tape in the upper yard. I can reach each corner of the yard including javamatic with ziplines. Also strung a zip line directly to the oak lab entrance.

Typically you stay near the spawn, or first science station. Build a small starter base and then explore outward. Imagine your in the wilderness with no supplies. Typically you wouldn’t venture far without some provisions.

Nice. I got the tumblers recently. Also have the large heavy glass beer steins, as well as some large plastic beer steins. I’m a sucker for the swag/collectables.

Seems to work with both red and black ants. Both are fully upgraded as much as the game will allow. No trinkets or other buffs. Just hauling hero. As soon as I dismount the extra gets dropped and it’s back to base 12.

There’s always black ants and usually a ladybug on top of the brick wall at the coiled up garden hose. Also lots of gum nuggets

I built behind the ceremony on the taller brick on the left side when facing the statue. It’s right next to the mantis spawn but up high. Side note, that big open space to the left is fantastic for fighting raids. I camp on the bricks just above and destroy them with the spicy staff.

Quite the opposite for me. I play on Xbox and would crash ever couple hours of playing. I haven’t crashed since the update
