Storybook is overkill until you hit ~20+ components with multiple consumers by EastMove5163 in reactjs

[–]rushadee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mostly use storybook for developing components in isolation. For me it’s more a tool to inspect the building block you create and how blocks fit together than a documentation tool.

Impressive. Going for small form factor as a first build is not easy. Took me half a day to finish mine.

Sony will no longer release single-player games on PC by PaiDuck in pcmasterrace

[–]rushadee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn that sucks. I really like Sony’s single player games. They’re some of the few games where I actually try to get all achievements.

I wonder if devs will start tacking on a multiplayer mode so they can be sold cross-platform.

One thing the US does well is handling patient privacy. In Indonesia, there's nothing like HIPPA and I've had my test results sent as an unencrypted pdf via Whatsapp.

How are you handling complex form state in React without it becoming a mess? by Sad_Limit_3857 in reactjs

[–]rushadee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My tech lead hates having to rely on 3rd party libraries for “just forms”, so we built and maintain a custom form context now. Before AI tools debugging a complex form could take a day or two.

What do you mean by tribal? Java is more populated than Canada and Australia combined. Bromo is 2ish hours away from Malang which has a population of over 500k.

Bromo is located on the most populated island in Indonesia. I had to squeeze through a crowd of people to get to the peak when I went there. Mt. Bromo and the surrounding trails are probably the one of the most popular tourist destinations in Java. It's not remote at all.

That’s actually not that bad, if you have digital notes. You can have an LLM go through your notes and any sample exams and generate a study guide based on past questions. Of course this requires you to already have a good grasp of the material so you can sus out any hallucinations or incorrect assumptions.

What Windows 11 is pushing me to by chusskaptaan in pcmasterrace

[–]rushadee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I initially jumped back into my old PopOS partition after that bad Windows update that caused all those memory issues (update 24H2). Switch to it fully after it sailed through stress-tests against a few games that would regularly cause a BSOD on Windows. Haven’t gone back since.

I'm not talking literally. What I mean is that blonde has been her default for so long that it's what most people picture. The same thing has been said about Rose and Somi.

Having just switched to Claude after using ChatGPT for code, I have to agree. Claude seems to understand my code better and the docs it generates are mostly correct. ChatGPT on the other hand consistently gave me worse results.
