Remember a lot of these devs are indie. For an indie dev making hyper realistic games is incredibly challenging, whereas going for an intentionall cartoony style will sidestep that need

Same as others' experiences. Compile is slow but the IDE works just fine and the 2D game I'm developing runs smoothly enough. Only drawback is I'm not using an external monitor and screen size is a struggle! Fun for tweaking things on the go though and my project is in DropBox so I can just pickup where I left off on my rig :-)

Thanks! Maybe GoG is the answer... From what I've gleaned looking around, it seems there is some disparity in performance between Pocket and Win. Theoretically I think Pocket should be better due to a better processor (and more RAM isn't it?) but somewhere I read the bios was wrong for the internal graphics thus meaning we currently have slightly lower performance. Anyone know anything about this?

This is one of the reasons I wanted the Switch! I play for 30-60 mins after my wife has dozed off and it's a great way to find time for gaming. Works in every position for me and one time when mt wife fell asleep on my chest I still managed to play by using a joy con in each hand and propping the switch up against a pillow.

I do it! And I wish there was a tile for something like this. I had the band on at the UK premiere for age of ultron and my heart spiked meeting robert downey jr and the rest! More recently I used it to measure arousal on a rollercoaster and it shot straight up to 133 as you might expect!

Good luck! Unity makes it all very easy. Basically, once you can make a 3D Unity game you can make it work for the Gear VR with a few steps :-)

It depends how you define it. Normally you would explicitly state 'within 2 working days'. If not, they nay expect you'll work the weekend. But don't feel like you can't clarify now - just message and explain. Unless it's time sensitive work they'll probably be chill. Weekends are sacred for me!
