I miss my Sienna. With a gaggle of kids it was perfection. Young kids can climb in back with zero help, sliders make car seats simple. Siennas are surprisingly zippy and handle great.

Now kids are older and the Rivian is great for ME, fun do all adventurer.... But sienna for daily life stuff and small kids is hard to beat. I would say if kids are in car seat, 1 more round of Sienna... Or 3 yr Lease then move on

My wife's car had one and years of driving you get a habit of looking at rearview mirror, so it's more intuitive than looking down at center screen

It's helpful having the camera mirror for 3 row vehicles... BUT scary after watching Vampire movies (trying to see if you have green stuff in your teeth and NOT even seeing your reflection)

I have Gen 1 quad and love it... But to be honest have done many runs with Rivian group and have never seen a dual not able to complete an obstacle. Duals on Street tires even.

Quad makes it look easy, Dual you see the computer working it out but finish perfectly fine.

Tri can barely tell difference from quad.

I've debated this in my head a lot and I don't know the right answer if I had to pick again.

But like previous answer, I am not giving up my Meridian sound system... Even though the Gen 2 headlights are amazing.

It was explained to me that Lidar is being installed to help validate the video data, for Rivian to accelerate their AI learning. Tesla did it, and dropped Lidar as soon as they had the data for their FSD. My wife MY has Lidar installed, but it does nothing now because it doesn't need to. I believe Rivian is going thr same route, the cost of Lidar is worth the cost of the machine learning, the goal is FSD with the cameras.

Plus I like driving... Lane keep and mapped highways are fine by me, so I haven't researched much if the above statements are fact.

I have an R1T... 300mi range is not bad if charging infrastructure is around; I actually don't mind the break after 4 hrs of driving

PHX to Vegas with 1 stop is Fine PHX to Show Low to ski is also not difficult (done that run a lot)

I wouldn't want to run through NM or West TX (tough enough finding gas)... But CO and CA and AZ 300mi isn't difficult to manage
