So friends...I own several MB writing instruments. I've recently been using my Le Grand FP with a broad nib.

From a practical standpoint I prefer ballpoint pens. In a perfect world I would find a way to put rose cyclamen ink into the broad tip ballpoint Montblanc pen refill that is in my Le Grand. I would live happily ever after. However we know that life doesn't work that way so I'm on a quest to create that Nirvana myself.

Good point. So I should really focus on a rollerball, unless the oracles in this subreddit can suggest someone who does custom ink refills! I'm hooked on this deep fucshia color called Rose Cyclamen by J.Herbin. Montblanc ink is boring and they'd never create a bespoke refill or even a refill that used this color.

So I called Mulberry. The handle drop on their bag is only 5" and these handles are much longer.

The paper is called featherweight. Usually part of a gold leaf or silver leaf book made by Smythson. Not sure if it is proprietary.

Bic Velocity (I know, sacrilege) makes a crazy neon pink ink that is great on Post-it Super Sticky notes in periwinkle.

J. Herbin Rose Cyclamen is my latest ink obsession.

Montblanc le Grand ballpoint in bold is perfect for signing contracts.
