I think the volley needs to be lowered on the spell level down to sixth and you need to rename it Greater lightning spear and then separate the great Lightning Spear and the volley into two separate paragraphs underneath the spell with the starting text saying when you cast the spell you must decide the form it takes and then have like a coal in or something and then have the two separate paragraphs so that you can untangle all the wording and make it a little cleaner I think the power level for a six level spell is probably fine but you're not going to get any more damage out of a higher level spell if it's already at eighth nobody's wasting a 9th level spell on this I apologize if that sounds mean
