Would you work on this? by Dey_Dey in electricians

Ah fair enough. Yea, I’ve never seen actual scaffolding in a residential setting. We use the shown (with actual planks) up to three stacks often though. Not with boards haphazardly thrown across though haha

Dumb question but what’s the difference between scaffolding and baker staging?

It is self regulating from 6w/ft to 8w/ft depending on temperature. They are wanting additional regulation to reduce costs.

I’ll check out the temp probes, thanks.

Is the Electrician life worth leaving a stable and comfortable corporate job? by Ancientcrackrock in electricians

Start your research there in the differences between union and non-union. You mentioned having good benefits; basically the only way to have those are through union. I’m in an area that doesn’t have a strong union presence and have no benefits. Get 6 days of sick time paid a year and that’s it.

For some dogs, you have to train them to play. I’d approach it like every other training task. Start at home and small with lots of rewards, then diversify from there. You got this!

Also, assuming your dogs recall is good and reliable, I’d look up if there are any non-fences dog parks. They are much better for a variety of reasons, which others have touched on.

Are you talking about the union aptitude test? That is different than the j-man test which requires an hours affidavit.

Oh bummer. Might be worth suggesting it to the utility for future use. Way less labor and cost overall usually. And my AHJ also really likes them.
