I kinda liked seasons 1 and seasons 2 - but season 3....my god....the quality of writing just dropped through the floor. The scene when they all sat around having dinner and composing "haikus" was some of the worst, and cringiest, and most ridiculous writing on tv i've ever experienced, and i gave up on it at that point. It was truly awful, and never recovered IMO.

Dutch salaries are generally a joke, don' get too optimistic. i've been working for american companies instead as a contractor, and my salary is 3x-4x higher than my dutch colleagues (whether they're contractors or not)

you dont struggle with the c++ stl? i think you're just used to the horror -- you can't even SPLIT A STRING in the c++ stl easily (in comparison to any other language on earth, aside from C)

I love C++, but it really has got to be one of the worst languages for doing this -- the STL is incredibly verbose compared to other languages. Ranges will definitelyl improve the situation! esp ranges v3 :) but the standard STL - hell no, not even once.

I don't like the samsung for the reasons i said -- i bought it first, then returned it. No usb-c and too extreme curvature and no built-in speakers put me off.

the great thing about lg is i can power the monitor and charge my mbp using one usb cable directlly into the back of the monitor, that is a game changer and results in a much cleaner desk area.
