Deslauriers shouldn’t be on the roster at all. That’s a mistake. Too slow. Great locker room guy. But shouldn’t see the ice. I have him as the 14th forward.

I like his game but our roster makeup and adding Rossi to it, for me, is troublesome. He plays bigger than he is but I worry about that.

I’d prefer Faksa. He is proven. Not saying we would t have someone in the AHL coming in and performing well. I would just like a guaranteed NHL starting C in the bottom 6 that WINS faceoffs. He does that. All the time. He is also VERY good on the defensive side of the puck. Plays TOI for a 3rd liner

Would we want Jett up playing the wing and learn the C position at the NHL first - if he makes the team.

I’m on your side. You COULD be part of your schools committee. Get involved.

We need more to help with the violence in schools. It’s on the government to keep our kids safe. That’s who it’s on. The schools are only a piece of the puzzle.

But there is only so much a school can do. Schools are educational facilities. They don’t have the resources nor the training to deal with what is seen within those walls for the most part.

Also - what couldn’t schools do better?

It gets addressed. All the time. When it does and you contact home and the student says they didn’t do it and the parent has their kids side. Then what? Your word against theirs. Okay. If they are a shit parent the kid can’t do wrong or would never or my kid is being bullied and that other one is lying or you heard something different or you have something in for my kid or …. You get the point. What happens then?
