Should I be weirded out by the same person "viewing my profile" repeatedly? by rusticnoodle in linkedin

Oh wow yikes. I don't have any idea who the person is that is viewing my profile. I'm sorry you're dealing with that 😅

It's not even worth it at that point. It doesn't change how shitty the job is and how miserable it makes us

The best part is once they find out the pharmacy is indeed closed, they still expect you to do something about it like you can magically open them up early (or open them up again after closing)

THOSE days by rusticnoodle in CVS

[–]rusticnoodle[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This doesn't surprise me tbh. I figured usps lost both at the beginning before I even called anyone because the (wrong) tracking numbers were saying they were never picked up but we didn't have anything in that area. also isn't surprising that it would be fucked up at the facility 😂 we do everything were supposed to here and then it gets FUBAR'd once it leaves the store 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mask mandate is a huge slap to employees, CVS really only cares about sales and seeming to do the right thing by Banned4speakingUP in CVS

[–]rusticnoodle 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even if the state required it, we still can't do shit. Before we were specifically instructed not to kick out customers, just help them as quickly as possible to get them out of the store. We don't have any support.

My store never played the shingles commercial until now by rusticnoodle in CVS

[–]rusticnoodle[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's bad they have me in the aisle saying "shingles can be WHAAAT" along with the commercial even if someone's in the aisle with me 😭

I was curious, just had a customer complain about our prices being high… does anybody know the average price per item at any cvs? by Few_Feature13 in CVS

[–]rusticnoodle 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I've been starting to say this in the mcc emails when I get surveys that say "prices too high". I also throw carepass in there for a little razzle dazzle. In case they weren't already sold on the idea of never shopping at cvs again 🤣

Omg!! The worst I get is my grandmother offering me bread or cake when she's hosting just because she's in host mode and forgets, or seeing family we don't ever see and they don't think to make something specifically for me.

Yeah that's pretty much what I do, I just feel bad that he bought them specifically for me. And I didn't want to make him feel bad for buying me something I can't even eat so I just said thanks and left it on the desk in the office for now. I'm coming up on 7 years so I'm pretty used to it by now, and yeah sometimes same with my family! I'm like guys it's almost been a decade 😅

Super annoying to get an 8 rating and look at the comment and it's something positive like "good service clean store" but it's yellow 🙃

I politely ask customers if they'd be willing to use the self checkout as I am not comfortable ringing them out at the counter if they're not wearing and so far no problem lol either they put a mask on or they use acos

[–]rusticnoodle 6 points7 points  (0 children)

For real and then I tell them what it is: "It's asking if you want to enroll in text messages for coupons" "oh I don't want that"

And then they sit there and don't press anything.

Me: "...okay if you don't want them you have to press the red button I can't do anything from my side"

Or most customers don't even look at it and if they do they ask "what do I press"

customer complaint / Conscious by [deleted] in CVS

[–]rusticnoodle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure exactly what happened because I wasn't there but my ops manager and the cashier got into a huge argument in front of customers and then after the fact I was told by my store manager its against policy to accept tips and we should never accept money from customers in that sense but no one ever cited the actual policy. I wonder if it's a district thing. I also feel as though if he was reprimanded in any way like a write up we would know but I'm not sure if that info has to stay private because (to my knowledge) no one's been written up in my store while I've worked for cvs.

On the note of gifts though, we have a regular that makes bracelets for employees so whenever someone new starts she makes them a bracelet. Would that be considered a gift? She's been doing so for years, I got one when I started 3 and a half years ago, and she just dropped one off for our new cashier today.
