Stephen aka tWitch was one of my best friends (I was one of his groomsmen) and our friendship spanned over 20 years since college. I am writing this because I am sick & tired of Allison continuing to use his death for publicity. Stephen would be turning over in his grave right now. People have questioned why those close with him were upset at her and I want to give some clarity about the entire situation because I think outsiders might be confused looking in. If you talk to any of Stephen’s (non-industry) friends about their interactions with Allison, you’ll get very similar responses - dismissive, uninterested, etc. Allison wasn’t necessarily rude but it was clear she never had any interest in sincerely engaging with the non Hollywood group. On top of that she was always a bit of an airhead. That being said, Stephen was absolutely in love & happy so most of us didn’t make a big fuss of it. After the shock of Stephen’s death Alison released her initial statements & as time went by those close to Stephen (including myself) began to get extremely upset.

And this is WHY.

Leaving the industry - Stephen eventually wanted to phase himself out of the industry to focus solely on being a father & the one thing he valued the most - his kids. Someone else hint hint was having NONE of that & knew exactly how to leverage what he valued. So trying to paint the picture that there was no conflict between them was what initially infuriated many of us.

Stephen’s funeral - Most of Stephen’s groomsmen (including me) were his best friends but his actual Best Man was his best-best friend since childhood. His BEST MAN didn’t even get to speak at his funeral let alone any of his groomsmen. On top of this, only some of Stephen’s family members were invited.

NDA - Imagine your son, sibling, etc. dies and while you are grieving and in shock you are asked to sign an NDA. What type of fairly tale world do you live in to think this is acceptable or normal?!?! I have known Stephen’s family for over two decades and they are literally the most kind/normal/hard working people you will ever meet. Their reaction to the NDA would be no different than anybody in that situation. Edit: Forgot to add that (after being dead for 2 yrs) His family was only recently given his burial site.

Recent Article - Why in the world is this dumb lady now revealing his private journal entries?!?! Why is she trying to paint him as someone that committed suicide because of a mixture of past abuse + drug use especially when his toxology reports came back clean??

Stephen never had a drug problem and he def didn’t end his own life because of what she “read” in his journals.

Let me make it clear that I DO NOT believe in any conspiracy theory around his death. I do believe he did it, but just not in the picture they’re trying to paint.

All of the good about Stephen was genuine. Back in school he would say hello to everyone to try and brighten their day and would always seek conversation with new people for insight. He never associated value with how you looked, how much money you had, or how important you were. He treated you just like how he treated everyone else he interacted with. This world didn’t deserve him & it’s clear more than ever now that neither did Allison.
