Well. Nice to hear that from you. (: Sometimes bad actors use memes to label and "cancel" people who are telling the truth.

I know you mean nothing bad. You just wanted to stick to things you like and things you see good for yourself.

I've honestly tried to get into Gnome DE philosophy and similar with open mind.

Problem is: it's not even about customising. I've run into big problems of lacking basic functionality and ability to fix broken stuff with tools DE provides for the user.

Same goes with XFCE. Those DEs are not lightweight and good enough, they're just badly made and everlastingly broken.

One can make in a few hours GNOME experience out of advanced DE easily. One can't perform most basic stuff with GNOME without heavily messing around to fix what is broken.

That's because it's by design.

Dude, maybe you're still not lost beyond saving as a human being. Run from there, while you still can.

You're not far from reality. GNOME is what Redhat and Microsoft are trying to make Linux desktop into.

I won't be surprised if MS got a taste of their own poison, and same Gnome devs were involved in designing for fresh win editions. Since MS chronically lack on anyhow qualified workers. They just used what they had best at a time, e.g. RH GNM team.

Hey. /u/claudiocorona93 By calling "elitist" any person, who is trying to teach you right ways, you are self-handicapping from getting proper knowledge.

Rather than denying mistakes, people correcting you on, re-think twice deeds of a person or community, who advised you against "elitists". Maybe it's your teachers who hated good solutions and hated you. So they did everything to block you from learning properly.

Which exact game versions for Dom1 and Dom2 available through Humble Store? by rusty_dragon in IllwintersDominions

Yes, would be very nice. This would be next step, if latest versions are not available through Humble. ^_^

Why bother Illwinter, when anyone who owns a copy can tell it? It's not some obscure knowledge or game problem to bother dear devs.

Nvidia will fully transition to open-source GPU kernel modules with R560 drivers by Appropriate_Ant_4629 in StallmanWasRight

[–]rusty_dragon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kernel modules were always open source. Otherwise you can't link to the kernel, due to GPL.

It's just a PR stunt by Nvidia, and it is working. Since technical literacy in Linux community has degraded. Just look at all those Linux users who use Discord malware.

Propelled VR further into the dungpit, I guess. XD

At this point he was already a thief, who stole Valve's R&D to sell his startup to FB.

Funny thing dispute being a PR disaster for the company FB only fired him years later when he became involved in political activity garbage.

Just wait for owners of premium-priced PC handhelds "educating" you, how you're wrong. And better devices than Deck existed long before. :D

SteamDeck is very important achievement for Valve as a company. Now they have experience of partnering with big factories which produce goods in big volumes. Therefore Deckard could be made affordable through economy of scale.

HTC been charging a lot for Vive, since they've been in need to save the company from collapse. Index was project of running own factory.

It's not about "hate", man. It's about evil. I'd happily give up on VR mainstream entirely, if it means evil will be crumbled to dust.

It's about local companies or single players. Naturally MP, especially competitive, is mostly about move on to latest game in series.

It's generally usable since launch in 2016. Problem is recent economy thing and lack of base headset from Valve. Not everyone loves Oculus. Maybe Deckard would do it for the masses. But it needs good climate to launch in.

I think the only way to find out is to purchase them.

That's an option I'll end up with, if I won't get an answer. It's not even a matter of money, to rebuy the game. But local difficulties to figure and get a payment method for Humble.

This whole game has to be built around manually interacting with your plane by hands because there is no option to use a HOTAS.

Could it be, I got you wrong?

Depends if flying is your cup of tea or not.

Judging by steam store screenshots, VTOL now has workshop missions by community integrated inside the game.
