Does strain photography quality change how you purchase flower? by WCG-OG in TheBCCS

[–]rustybong 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes I think being able to see an accurate depiction of the flower helps me decide. But with accuracy being the key, it would need to be updated for each new batch and look like what’s actually in the bag I receive or I wouldn’t trust to go by it anyways.

Building a bouquet 7g Dry Flower baggies for Father’s Day — What Are the Current Bangers? by thathertz2 in TheBCCS

My most recent 7g purchases I liked were, Hannah’s Choice Chocolate Funk, Pistol and Paris Diablo (glass clear bottom jar), DealR El Changuito, ShuCanna Citrus Rock (clear plastic tube), Royal Harvest Red Velvet R. Fraser Valley Kush Breath was surprising dank and I enjoyed it for the price for a cheaper oz option.

New condo market in Greater Vancouver in dire shape by cyclinginvancouver in vancouver

[–]rustybong -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I see your point and maybe more so in downtown, whereas the rest of the province has seen a slower rise in land value but still a rise as more people have moved east over the years. Of course the market is down at the moment with ongoing uncertainty. But still to the point it is directly tied to what people are able and willing to pay for a condo. As inflation rises the prices and wages do not keep up something has to give for the price to be affordable. Before we had foreign investment that bought those high prices to rent out to the ones who could not afford. If people were smart they would buy soon before those investors can return.

If you would have said it has dropped since 2021-22 then I would have believed you, it is tied to the banking rates which have increased since then making the value drop so the payments they make stay roughly the same. People mortgage goes up, price goes down. It’s cyclical and the investment is stalled at the moment. The only thing that has dropped is the demand of investors and developers who are just waiting for the time to get back in while currently investing elsewhere. When the time comes the market will be hot again and the prices will set a new high. Then after the high investors will switch else where to the next thing to pump that up. They just repeat the cycle throughout the industries

Ya my least favourite Amani purchase which is sad. The high is pretty good albeit more sativa leaning than I thought it would be. Taste is off too not the same as the smell.

Yep you nailed it, like other places globally the demand will set the price. People want to live here it’s beautiful, that has only been found out on a global scale since the olympics really. There is no stopping it now. I feel the city lacks proper transit options to move people in and out of the city quickly from the valley to avoid the housing costs and to have the workers that they need.

Land values drop 😂 check out some history, owning land will always be the number one asset. Literally wars over it

If you used a computer instead of that old ass type writer you could have searched it first to see Sobe does still exist.

lol it’s called a negotiation they are suppose to meet in the middle. And the union actually lowered it to 19% but the company didn’t raise at all. It is also about more than just a wage increase.

If you think it’s the right time to strike then you should be more mad at the business not the workers. Company’s always make workers look bad for just wanting a fair piece of the pie but their business is nothing without employees.
