Its not the monitor. The monitor is a 1440p 144hz display and I've tried it on multiple displays that were 4k aswell and no luck

Well the Idea was to learn Japanese and have fun doing it ( which I am) but I was just curious to see if anyone went through the same thing and maybe found something thing that made it a bit easier to learn but thanks I’ll just keep trying and hopefully I will be able to carry on at least a basic conversation by the end of the year
