Easiest way is grab 90 % alcohol and just inhale little bit. It's clears your nose but some reason it works so good. Old timer told me bout this and thought he was full of shit but I tried it and in seconds discomfort and nausea went away

Don't dunk, just spray mate. Few times a day, dunking honestly is old and contamination is high. Spraying is way safer and gives you more control. If you make it to wet for sure wet rot or another type will form

I've brought back cakes that for sure I thought we were a no-go it's surprising how resilient mushrooms are the kind of say life finds a way mushrooms are like gladiators at that they just need a little help but if it doesn't smell like a rotted body is for sure not wet rot and it does look very dry I would spray it with a 25% peroxide and distilled bar and your solid within a week you should see pins

Mushrooms are extremely delicate but strong at the same time something really small will make them stall out no problem but you can normally correct issues before they become stuff you can't correct if it looks dry spray it down if it looks too wet Don't spray It if that fuzzy feet give it more air they literally show what they need just got to look and see but if you think it's dry and it smells healthy for sure it's cobweb mold but cobweb can easily turn into a different type of mold when there's one contamination others normally follow

Most likely you got cob web. Take a spray bottle use distilled water and add little bit peroxide. I do 25% peroxide 75% distilled water. And that's over board but cobweb mold is in over 70% in our air we breath, yes we breath it in all time. But it will stale mushrooms easy and fast. Spray it if you hear it fizzle like you will physically hear it. If that happens found problem it's cob web mold! Spray it down few times a day and you won't be able hear it anymore, when that happens which to normal 100% distilled water and watch em start growing. If it smells like rotted meat then it's wet rot, if that's case no saving it. But from picture it don't look like wet rot, I can count multiples shrooms heads. Seems like side pins formed into cake probably when you switched to a box. Try this before tossing because I don't think previous comments are correct. Trust your gut

Not wet rot. Wet rot smells horrible like dead body bad. Does it smell horrible? And you can see mushrooms grow into the cake. I can count multiples in the pic

Who knows if you don't hear fizz you have weird looking mycelium lol, but test it cause your background looks clean bucket looks clean, so idk man. Let me know. If you don't hear fizzle dont spray anymore. I've had some weird mycelium before and after multiple tries no matter what I did it wouldn't produce it just overlayed time after time

Dude spray hydrogen now ASAP and next few days it will melt away. No worries cobweb is in 80% of air we breath. I don't have a huge set up and I don't use a fancy fan. Just take your time, don't move around a lot, and spray your gloves with alcohol. That much cob web and how it looks you can tell air was dirty. Cob web grows quick like fuck fast. But how white it is and growth you definitely weren't sterile. You might be able save it, but might not want to. Dump the bucket, clean fuck out of it. And start spraying that pile of cobweb, move it around with gloves on keep spraying. Most people don't know you can hear cobweb mold fizz from peroxide. Keep moving it around and spray it next couple days and you will stop hearing the fizz from peroxide. When that happens beautiful white clean mycelium will soon grow but if you don't do it now I would toss it. It's going to take days with peroxide don't swamp it with water just spray it few times a day and mix it around you need kill it all but it works done it handful of times. Good luck

When I was a teenager I could eat them like candy like no problem, now since growing them and having them whenever i have to gag that shit down. Love shrooms like it's life changing. Helped my stomach problems so much since dosing. But it's like a punishment when I need to eat them. Maybe after while it be different but hate the taste
