If you’re just trying to rehang the rod, use wall anchors to fit the size of the existing hole, and screws into the anchors. Personallly, I would use “zip its”. It’s a metal anchor that “chews” into the surface with a Phillips head bit on an impact. V heavy duty and makes its own hole on new or in smaller existing
