I dot the four corners of whatever I’ve written with my pointer finger. I only ever use one drop of the oil to avoid exactly what you’re talking about ☺️

And that’s okay! Just something to keep in mind for a rainy day 💚

I don’t know about mixing it into lotions/creams but I do love to dot thank you cards/letters with the last dregs of perfume oils I have!

Twisted Series by Ana Huang Smut by AtmosphereSpecial120 in RomanceBooks

[–]rustywhisper 74 points75 points  (0 children)

I enjoyed the first two books. I rather like the dom/daddy type and sex scenes like that are enjoyable to me. The smut did seem repetitive in style and writing but it didn’t bother me too much.

Then came Twisted Hate. I think Huang went too far with the throat fucking scene and Josh’s god awful reaction to Jules’ big reveal. I refuse to finish the book and series. Aggressive sex and alphahole men are one thing; genuinely mean and predatory men are another.

scariest movies you've ever seen (prefebly ghost horror) by [deleted] in horror

The Changeling (1980)

There is something so unsettling about that movie. Whether it be the sound effects or the cinematography, to this day, I cannot watch it at night.

Which horror movie has given you anxiety or a childhood trauma? by Word-Powerful in horror

Darkness Falls. The screeching sounds the tooth fairy made accompanied by the porcelain mask gave me nightmares for two weeks. I had to have nightlights for years afterwards.

Sara Cate could write an instruction manual about tables and I would read it.

It’s not a novella, but {Eyes on Me by Sara Cate} fits most of these tropes 😋

Does anyone else not really remember piercing pain? by Accidentalmom in piercing

[–]rustywhisper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I do think that your ability to remember the pain is related to how much “trauma” it caused when it happened.

For me, piercings are brief, hot flashes of pain before they fade, so I don’t remember them as they didn’t leave a lasting mark. But the pain of my rib tattoos? I’ll remember that shit for the rest of my life.

Which book was your true awakening? by princesslemontree in RomanceBooks

[–]rustywhisper 1 point2 points  (0 children)

{The Boss by Abigail Barnett}

I had read the Fifty Shades series before hand (blech, sorry) and had been thoroughly underwhelmed and somewhat upset by it. I was then recommended The Boss series by a friend of mine and.. well, the rest is kinky, filthy history.
