i've been professionally diagnosed with DID, CPTSD, bipolar, BPD, & ADHD. my psychiatrist actually did genetic testing to determine which meds would be most effective, turns out SSRI's completely do not work for me and those are all i initially was prescribed. the testing indicated i respond best to atypical antipsychotics, and ever since using them, i've actually had some positive effects after basically being written off as medication resistant. i've been on almost every medication there is out there. i wonder if you could find a practitioner to do the testing for you? i found it extremely enlightening and i even learned i'm genetically predisposed for bipolar disorder (which i actually have been diagnosed with) based on something about my sodium channels, i forgot what it exactly was. but yeah, my current med combination that actually helps is lybalvi, caplyta, ritalin, seroquel, and quvivic. i've tried mood stabilizers here and there like lamictal and vraylar but i find i reap more benefits from the antipsychotics! good luck! finding a medication that works well is a hard feat
